American International Electric Constant bag sealers are used for the sealing of foil, mylar or polycellophane bags. An AIE constant heat sealer differs from an AIE impulse heat sealer in that the heating element is always on (constant heat). This constant heat provides the ability to seal a heavier bag. Polycellophane bags are commonly seen in supermarkets where spices are packaged and displayed or on gift baskets. Foil bags are commonly used to seal coffee. AIE constant heat sealers are a specialty item and are not for common bag sealing operations.
